It is time to get certified?
Profit or loss.
Bills and debt.
Blaze a trail or regret?
Music doesn't sound the same as it once did. Deciphering what is fact and truth leaves me even more pessismistic about the world and those who govern it.
To be content and amititous at the same time.
To be wise but harmless... cunning as a snake yet peaceful as a dove.

Hawaii
It's home. Red dirt scatters the Earth trodden ground. It's everywhere, remnants of volcanic formations not so long ago, geologically speaking. But let's not get into that, my knowledge only goes as deep as how deep one can shuffle this red Hawaiian soil. You'd be lucky if you can dig 2 feet, it's that compact.
Blood & Bones Compost was created for those late night dreamers and doers. It has spawned because, like a compost bin, our life experiences somehow fall into this buzzword, "bucketlist". But if you're lucky, after time, heat, and decay, those experiences become fertile- whether you like it or not. The powers of fate (a higher being) hands us the seed...
My friend Makrom and I will cross paths again. His Blood & Bones have been in my compost bin for years, since the September 11 attacks. My cooking mate will be in Oahu this August. The possibility of opening a catering venture, a food truck, something I feel in my bones is becoming imminent. Especially, since he ended up starting The Spice Corps in NYC, ideas have come full circle after all these years.
And then there's the bigger picture- the FARM. This is the literal meaning of Blood & Bones Compost. It's a venture that will unite the family and generations to follow. The Farm is in our genes, it echoes in my hands and brings love to my heart.
